This event, rich with activities designed to foster team building, professional development, and personal growth, epitomized the themes of connection, knowledge sharing, and company growth.

Fostering Deep Connections Across the Team

The off-site kicked off with team-building activities that enhanced collaboration and camaraderie among employees. These interactive sessions were filled with both amusement and strategic thinking, setting a positive tone for the rest of the meeting. Additionally, a session on mental health and well-being underlined the importance of maintaining mental wellness, especially in the fast-paced work environment of consulting. Expert speakers offered valuable insights and practical tips on achieving work-life balance, highlighting Doppio’s commitment to the holistic well-being of its employees.

The first day’s cross-cultural training was particularly significant, emphasizing the nuances between the USA, Canada, and India. This session aimed to foster mutual understanding and effective communication among team members from diverse backgrounds, further strengthening the connections within the team. The day concluded with poolside drinks and a dinner event, where employees had the chance to socialize away from the office.

Enhancing Knowledge Sharing and Professional Development

Knowledge sharing was a central theme of the off-site, with multiple sessions dedicated to exploring Doppio’s expertise and services. The first sessions delved into Doppio’s body of work, with senior leaders discussing key accounts and pertinent projects.  This was followed by a comprehensive overview of Doppio’s wide range of services providing a deeper understanding of the company’s capabilities and market positioning.

Panel discussions brought together various experts from within the team to speak to about wide ranging topics such as:

  • Data Integrations for e-commerce platforms, payments, bank reconciliation, and EDI
  • Data automation and productivity workflows using DocBits
  • Application development in Mongoose and XtendM3
  • Infor Warehouse Management System and Factory Track,
  • Other infor edge applications including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
  • Data analytics using Infor Data Fabric, data lake, and Microsoft Power BI.

Team members had a chance to discuss their main body of work and help others understand how discrete technical projects fit into their client’s larger business goals.

Midday activities included a professional photo booth and a health kiosk, providing fun, memorable snapshots and free health check-ups, respectively. The day ended with a fun and interactive quiz game titled “How Well Do You Know Doppio,” which tested the team’s knowledge about the company and our clients and allowed for some light-hearted competition and learning to take place.

Driving Company Growth Through Strategic Initiatives

The off-site was not just about fun and learning; it was also about laying the groundwork for future growth. The final day began with an inspiring keynote given by William (CEO), who shared his vision for the company’s future and outlined strategic goals. Emphasis was placed on the company’s approach to spending time with clients and being their preferred partner in their growth journey. This client-centric approach continues to be critical for Doppio’s success. This session was followed by a presentation from Ron (COO) and the HR team on upcoming employee initiatives focused on professional development and wellness programs.

The personal connections made during the event were also instrumental in driving company growth. Towards the end of the off-site meeting, employees had one-on-one sessions with leaders like William, Ron, Pranav, and Matthew. These interactions allowed for open dialogue, feedback, and mentorship, which are crucial for personal and professional growth. The off-site concluded with a sense of accomplishment and a renewed drive towards excellence and innovation.
